Then God said "Let there be light"; and light appeared. God saw the light and saw that it was good. He also separated the light from the darkness. He called the light day and the dark night. And that was the first day.
Then God said "Let there be sky in with the waters" So God made the sky and it divided the waters which were above it from the waters below it. God called the sky Heaven(space). And that was the second day.
Then God said "Let the waters under the sky be put together in one place, and let land appear"; so this happened. He called the dry land Earth and the gathering of the waters seas. And God saw that what he had made was good.
Then God said "Let the earth have grass and its seed, and fruit trees that grow fruit according to its kind, with seeds inside the fruit" And so this happened. Grass, plants and trees grew bringing fruit and seeds. God saw that this was good. That was the third day.
Then God said "Let there be light in the sky of the heavens(space) to separate the day from the night. Let these lights(stars planets moons and such) be signs of days years and seasons. And let these lights in the sky give light to the earth. And so this happened. Then God made two Great lights: the bigger for the day(the sun) and the smaller for night(the moon). He made the stars also. God put them in the sky of the heavens to shine light on the earth.; to separate light from dark. God saw what he made was good. That was the fourth day.
Then God said "let the waters be filled with creatures and let the birds fly above the land in the sky. So God created great sea creatures and everything living thing that moves, in the sea and every kind of sea creature. He also created every kind of winged bird. God saw what he made was good. He blessed(wished good things upon) what he had made. He told them to "be productive and multiply, fill the seas with creatures and the sky with birds" That was the fifth day.
Then God said "Let there be living creatures that live on the earth ; cattle, creeping things and beasts of all kinds. So this happened. God made all kinds of these creatures. He saw what he made was good
Then God said let us make people to look and feel like us(God, son, Holy spirit). Let humans have power over the fish in the sea, birds in the air, over the cattle, over all the earth and its creatures. So God created man in his own image. God created male and female. Then God blessed them and God said to them "be productive and multiply. Fill the earth with people; have power over the fish, birds and every living creature that moves on the earth.
And God said, "Look, I have given you every plant and its seed which are all over the earth, and every tree with its fruit and seeds,The fruit will be for food. Also to every beast, bird, and everything that creeps on the earth, that has life, I have given every plant for food." And so this happened. Then God saw everything he had made; indeed it was very good. And that was the sixth day.
So the heavens, and the earth and all that was within them, were finished. On the seventh day God ended his work and rested. He rested from all the work he had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy(pure; without fault). He did this because he had rested from all his work; his makings; creation.
This is the history of the heavens and the earth; when they were created, on the day that God made the heavens and the earth; before any plant or herb grew in the fields. God did not cause it to rain and there was no man to till the ground. But water came up from the ground and watered the plants.
And God formed man from the dust off the ground. He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

*So to start off I know I put in parenthesis words that you know; most people do. But usually people see the word and know the meaning but don't really acknowledge its meaning. I really want to make a person think about Gods word, what it means and how truly amazing God is.
God is so amazing! To look around and realize God created all of this, its unfathomable. We can make things but can you imagine trying to make something as intricate as the brain? We(as a human race) are still so far from understanding the brain. Earth is pretty big right? Can you imagine trying to make a star that is millions of times bigger that our earth. God did it all, he created this universe full of beauty, partly just so his beloved children could look out at the beautiful night sky. But he didn't stop at our viewing point; nope. There are millions of unseen galaxies out there screaming out how amazing our God is. I could talk about the universe for days I am amazed by black holes, stars and galaxies. Look at this picture of a planetary nova which is apart of the star "life" cycle towards the end of its "life."Pretty much a dying star is throwing off its outer layers. They call this one the helix planetary nebula or better known as "Gods eye"; His creations scream his name.
This one is referred to as the" hand of God". It is a dying or an exploding star(a supernova) this explosion created a new star called a pulsar(type of star; it is the bright spot in the "wrist")
We are so small and yet God loves us so much.
The earth itself is so beautiful; Cherry blossom trees, and luscious green fields. God made it all! He made it all for you and me.
Gods creation makes you realize a little piece of how much he loves us. He created us in his own image; to look and feel like him, so we could have a relationship with him. How cool is that?
He put us in charge, so even though its cliche take care of the earth and its creatures.
And take time to work hard for God but also to rest. Lay down, relax, talk to God. Meditate on his word. Truly spend time with God. And be thankful for his beautiful creation, be romanced by his wonder.*
